The 6 hour flight from Ottawa to London was nice. First of all, Charlotte and I got bulkhead seats, which means we got those seats right behind first class where's tons of leg room. Downside was that we had to put our bags up, but the monitors made up for all of that. The monitors were touch screen with a map that marked our progress, as well as multiple movies/tv shows/music stations to watch our own leisure. Also, the food trays were seemingly missing, only to appear in the armrests. They were pretty awesome, needless to say.
We eventually landed, and were very eager to get to our hotel. We came out on the otherside of the Westminster Bridge with the London Eye across the river and Big Ben right next to us. Our hotel was easy to spot, and we rushed inside. However that's where problems began. Apparently, the last people in our room checked out late, which meant we could not get into our room until around 4. So we sat and waited for around 2 hours (A portion of which I missed after falling asleep in the very strange face chairs).
At least we got free drinks out of it. But we're here now, and that's all that matters. They also have the fanciest bathrooms in the lobby I have ever seen. This is by far the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in.
